THERE IS NO ON SITE REGISTRATION
ALL Riders must pre-enter and pre-pay in advance.
Entries will be accepted when entry form and payment is received.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

 

1. I can confirm that my state and/or county will allow 50 or more people to gather. (Please note that you should consider everyone in your count if there are limitations—riders, management, control judges, veterinarians, volunteers, crews, family members, etc.)

Yes, our state/county has (1) no restrictions on gatherings over 50 people, (2) allows recreational events, and (3) has no travel restrictions.

HEALTH:
Covid plan for Fun In The Sun (FITS) Riders please do NOT attend if showing signs of illness to include, but not limited to, fever, cough, chills, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or loss of sense of smell or taste

It is each person's responsibility to take care of themselves.
Signs will be posted as you enter camp and in common areas to remind you to social distance, wearing face coverings and sanitizing your hands.
FITS Covid Plan is subject to change according to state mandates and veterinary discretion.
Ride management will provide hand sanitizers in common areas
 To keep exposure to a minimum, spectators and non-crew guests are not allowed at basecamp.

REGISTRATION: Rides will be limited to 50 horses per day.
No on site registration

ALL  riders must preregister and mail in full payment to Ride Manager .
FOOD
FITS will have have a food ve:ndor on site for officials, volunteers and riders. Face coverings must be inside food vendor's area.
Hours for Food Vendor:
Wednesday, March 10  11am – 5pm
Thursday, March 11:  6:30am to 5pm
Friday, March 12:  6:30am to 5pm
Saturday, March 13: 6:30am to 3pm
Riders please still come prepared to bring your own food and drinks.
CAMPING:
There will be overnight camping. You will be asked to park in a designated parking area.  Keep your personal distance.
Use your own restroom whenever possible.  Portable restrooms will be available. Hand santizers will be in the Portable restrooms.

RIDER INFORMATION:
Face coverings must be worn at all times by riders, crew, volunteers and officials.  Face coverings may be removed while eating but please eat in a socially distanced location.
Rider cards will be located at the vet-in area to minimize contact
Ride maps, distance loops, Covid 19 and other information will be posted .
We will offer a brief ride meeting for anyone with questions or newer riders while keeping social distance. Meeting times will be posted.
Veterinarians will be sanitizing their hands regularly while vetting. While this takes just a moment, riders should remain patiently in line until called forward by the veterinarian.
All horses presented to the vet by only one handler. Face coverings must be worn at all times, except when eating and on a horse.
All areas where a line could form with horses will be monitored to ensure Social Distancing is being respected.
AWARDS:
Top 10 Awards will be given after the horse/rider team vets through for their completion.  Riders will be directed to the prize area.   There will be no organized awards ceremony.
